Lovestrong - Debut Album Christina Perri

Lovestrong debut album penyanyi/penulis lagu Christina Perri yang baru saja dirilis 10 Mei lalu di bawah bendera Atlantic Records dimana Christina Perri ikut ambil bagian sebagai produser dan penulis lagu. Album ini mengandalkan hit single Jar of Hearts yang tanpa diduga berhasil masuk Billboard Hot 100 lagu yang membuatnya terkenal di seluruh dunia, lagu balada yang sangat indah dari aransemen maupun lirik. Apalagi setelah Christina Perri menampilkan lagu ini di acara So You Think You Can Dance. 

Dalam albumnya Christina Perri berkisah mengenai cinta (Arms, Backwards, Distance) dan patah hati (The Lonely, Mine, Tragedy). “Lovestrong’ is something that I’m unbelievably proud of putting out into the world.  I thought very long and hard about which songs I wanted to put on there. I mean, I wrote every song on the album. All the songs are about love because that is what inspires me, and all the songs have this element of strength” demikian penjelasan dari penyanyi yang berasal dari Philadelphia ini. Bersama Grammy nominee James Blunt, Christina Perri melakukan spring tour April sampai Mei lalu mempromosikan Lovestrong.
