Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 2012

 

Penghargaan tahunan Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 2012 baru saja mengumumkan para pemenang kemarin Kamis 13 Januari waktu Indonesia di Hollywood Palladium dengan host by Rob Huebel dan Paul Scheer. Para pemenang Critics’ Choice Movie Awards berdasarkan voting member The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) untuk film yang dirilis dalam tahun 2011.

Film hitam putih dan silent asal Prancis The Artist yang sebelumnya memimpin dengan sebelas nominasi bersama Hugo, berhasil memenangkan empat penghargaan untuk kategori best picture, best costume design, best score dan best director untuk sutradara Michel Hazanavicius. Film komedi Bridesmaids memenangkan best comedy movie dan best action movie jatuh untuk film Drive. Rango memenangkan best animated feature.

Aktor George Clooney berhasil memenangkan best actor dalam film The Descendants mengalahkan Leonardo DiCaprio dan Brad Pitt. Sementara untuk best actress dimenangkan oleh Viola Davis dalam film The Help mengalahkan Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady). Best supporting actor disabet oleh Christopher Palmer dalam film Beginners dan Octavia Spencer (The Help) memengkan best supporting actress. Untuk kategori best young actor/actress dimenangkan oleh pendatang baru Thomas Horn dalam film Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards tahun memberikan penghargaan khusus kepada Martin Scorsese untuk Film + Music award dan Sean Penn untuk Joe Siegel award. Berikut daftar para pemenang dan nominasi Critics’ Choice Movie Awards 2012.
