Setelah penampilan Adele di ajang MTV VMA akhir Agustus lalu, lagu Someone Like You milik penyanyi asal Inggris Adele meroket di posisi puncak Billboard Hot 100 menggeser Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera Moves Like Jagger dari posisi puncak.
Someone Like You merupakan single kedua dari sophomore album Adele 21 menyusul kesuksesan debut single album ini Rolling in the Deep yang juga berhasil menempati posisi puncak US Billboard Hot 100 selama 7 minggu berturut-turut bertengger sejak 21 Mei sampai 2 Juli tahun ini dan video musik lagu ini berhasil memenangkan tiga penghargaan di MTV VMA 2011 kategori Best Editing, Best Cinematography dan Best Art Direction. Lagu Someone Like You ditulis oleh Adele bersama Dan Wilson dirilis 24 Januari lalu.
