CMT Music Awards 2011 Winner List

CMT Music Awards penghargaan country music untuk video musik dan televisi performance tiap tahun di Nashville, Tennessee berdasarkan fan voting di CMT.com yang dimulai sejak 27 April sampai 7 Juni diselenggarakan hari ini 9 Juni (atau 8 Juni waktu setempat). Tahun 2011 merupakan tahun kedua Kid Rock menjadi host acara yang berlangsung sejak 2002 memperebutan sepuluh kategori.

Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, bintang Glee Chord Overstreet, Kid Rock dan Kenny Rogers membuka acara dengan cuplikan parodi film Thelma & Louise film yang dibintangi Susan Sarandon & Geena Davis tahun 1991. Taylor Swift memenangkan penghargaan bergengsi Video of the Year untuk lagu ‘Mine’ tak bisa hadir karena sedang tour di Milwaukee sementara Jason Aldean tak kebagian satu penghargaanpun meski sebelumnya memimpin dengan empat nominasi. Justin Bieber memenangkan CMT pertama kalinya untuk kategori Collaborative Video of the Year untuk lagu That Should be Me featuring Rascal Flatts. Untuk kategori baru tahun ini Best Web Video of the Year dimenangkan oleh Blake Shelton Kiss My Country Ass.

CMT awards tahun ini dimeriahkan dengan penampilan penyanyi country tenar mulai dari Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Keith Urban hingga Lady Antebellum.
