Taylor Swift Won Entertainer of the Year

The Academy of Country Music(ACM) baru saja digelar 3 April waktu setempat  di MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, country music stars, Reba McEntire dan BlakeShelton ditunjuk sebagai host.  Tahun ini menginjak 46 tahun sejak acara ini pertama digelar tahun 1964.

Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambertdan Lady Antebellum membuktikan mereka memang pantas merajai ajang ini. Bahkan Taylor Swift berhasil merebut kategori bergengsi Enternainer of The Year. Swift merupakan pemenang termuda kategori ini setelah dua tahun berturut-turut CarrieUnderwood berhasil memenangkan kategori ini.  sementara Lady Antebelum menyabet Album of The Year (Need You Now) dan Vocal Group of the Year.

Miranda Lambert paling bersinar tahun ini berkat single The House that Built Me berhak membawa pulang 4 ACM awards dari 5 nominasi. Miranda hanya kalah dari Taylor Swift sebagai Entertainment of the Year. Empat kategori lain berhasil disabetnya, di antaranya Top Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year.

Di kategori laki-laki, BradPaisley menyabet Male Vocalist of the Year mengalahkan Blake Shelton dan KeithUrban. Sementara Sugarland meraih penghargaan kategori best Vocal Duo of the Year. Eric Church berhasil mengalahkan Easton Corbin dan Randy Houser untuk kategori best New Solo Vocalist of the Year.
