Grammy Awards 2013 Winners

Penghargaan musik paling bergengsi Grammy Awards ke 55 digelar di Staples Center Los Angeles hari ini Senin 11 February (Minggu 10 Feb waktu setempat) dengan host LL Cool J. Peraih nominasi Grammy Awards tahun ini diumumkan di acara Grammy Nominations Concert Live 5 Desember lalu. Fun, Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean memimpin dengan masing-masing mendapat enam nominasi. Namun tak seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, tahun ini tak ada yang mendominasi penghargaan memperebutkan trophy bersimbol gramaphone.

Group indie pop asal New York, Fun berhasil menyabet kategori bergengsi Song of the Year dengan single fenomenal mereka We Are Young, selain memenangkan Song of the Year, Fun juga berhasil menyabet Best New Artist mengalahkan Hunter Hayes dan The Lumineers. Album Babel milik folk rock band asal Inggris Mumford & Sons memenangkan Album of the Year mengalahkan El Camino milik The Black Keys yang sebelumnya lebih banyak diunggulkan. Lagu Somebody That I Used to Know milik Gotye feat. Kimbra juga memenangkan kategori bergengsi Record of the Year dan Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Untuk genre pop, Adele dengan lagu Set Fire to the Rain (Live) memenangkan Best Pop Solo Performance. Sementara Kelly Clarkson dengan album Stronger menyabet Best Pop Vocal Album. Duo Rock The Black Keys memenangkan Best Rock Performance dalam lagu Lonely Boy dan Best Rock Song. Carrie Underwood dengan single andalan Blown Away memenangkan Best Country Solo Performance dan Best Country Song.

Ajang penghargaan musik tahunan ini bertabur penampilan penyanyi papan atas dunia. Taylor Swift membuka acara dengan single We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, pemenang Best New Artist Fun tampil membawakan single terbaru Carry On, Mumford & Sons tampil dengan single I Will Wait. Lead singer Maroon 5 Adam Levin berkolaborasi bersama Alicia Keys membawakan lagu Day Light dan Girl on Fire. Kolaborasi Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Sting, Damian & Ziggy Marley menampilkan Tribute to Bob Marley sang legenda musik reggae. The Lumineers menampilkan single andalan mereka Ho Hey, serta Carrie Underwood Blown Away dan Two Black Cadillacs dan banyak lagi.
