Taylor Swift Raih Penghargaan Entertainer of the Year

Acara penganugerahan CMA awards tahun ini berlangsung di Bridgestone, Arena Nashville hari ini Rabu 9 November (atau 10 November waktu Indonesia) dengan host Brad Paisley dan Carrie Underwood yang tahun ini menjadi tahun ke empat berturut-turut mereka menjadi host acara ini. Tampil sebagai performer CMA awards yang ke 45 di antaranya Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield, Carrie Underwood dan Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Thompson Square, Sara Evans dan banyak lagi.

Taylor Swift berhasil menyabet penghargaan bergengsi tahun ini sebagai Entertainer of the Year, band country yang terdiri dari tiga bersaudara, The Band Perry berhasil meraih penghargaan terbanyak tahun ini dengan tiga penghargaan untuk kategori New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year dan Single of the Year untuk lagu fenomenal mereka If I Die Young.

Pasangan suami istri Blake Shelton dan Miranda Lambert kembali berhasil memenangkan masing-masing Male dan Female Vocalist of the Year untuk dua tahun berturut-turut, sementara Jason Aldean juga berhasil menyabet dua penghargaan untuk Album of the Year untuk albumnya ‘My Kinda Party’ dan Musical Event of the Year untuk lagu Don’t You Wanna Stay duetnya dengan Kelly Clarkson. Lady Antebellum menyabet satu penghargaan untuk kategori Vocal Group of the Year. Berikut para pemenang CMA awards 2011.
